INDIGO DE SOUZA Covers FRANK OCEAN’s “Ivy” & Shares Fall + Winter Dates

Indigo De Souza shares a cover of Frank Ocean’s “Ivy.” The Bandcamp exclusive comes with a self-shot video that features De Souza recording the song’s vocals.

I deeply love Frank Ocean’s songs and ‘Ivy’ has a truly special place in my heart,” says De Souza. “I have cried many times to this song and can see so much of my own inner world in it. I wanted to fully embody the song myself in honor of its gorgeous existence. Thank you Frank Ocean.

Any Shape You Take was released earlier this fall to wide critical praise. It received the coveted Best New Music distinction from Pitchfork who called it an “outstanding second album” that “spans grungy rock and colorful, hi-fi pop, illuminating her impressive voice and her ability to wring out every last drop of emotion,” and The AV Club hailed as “an indie rock masterwork” calling it “one of the year’s best.” De Souza was also named one of the Best New Artists of 2021 by Stereogum.

De Souza is hitting the road this month in support of Any Shape You Take. Tour highlights include 2 nights at Brooklyn, NY’s Music Hall of Williamsburg in January, 2 sold out hometown shows at Asheville, NC’s The Grey Eagle, and stops at Washington DC’s Black Cat, Boston, MA’s Royale and Philadelphia, PA’s Union Transfer. Tickets are available now.
