Kaleido on tour w/ Sebastian Bach 30th Anniversary Slave To The Grind

After quietly racking up 1 million streams independently and receiving acclaim from LoudWireAXS, and more, Detroit rock mavericks Kaleido continue to heat up 2021. The critically acclaimed quartet—vocalist Christina Chriss, drummer Joey Fava, bassist Cody Morales and guitarist Drew Johnston—recently joined Sebastian Bach’s sold out 30th Anniversary

Slave To The Grind Tour, crisscrossing North America right now.

The eleven-week tour launched at the beginning of October visits major markets coast-to-coast such as Atlanta, Nashville, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles before closing out December 17 at House of Blues in San Diego, CA. Not to mention, a much-anticipated hometown stop at Harpos in Detroit, MI November 19.

Something of rock n’ roll Cinderella story, Kaleido unexpectedly received the invite to open this historic tour earlier this year. On her birthday, Christina looked down at her phone and noticed Sebastian had not only followed her on Instagram, but also left a comment. The band’s booking agent called minutes later to let her know they’d been considered for the tour.

The next day, they got the big news…

“It’s so crazy,” says Christina. “We’re such huge fans of Sebastian. When we met, he told us he found us on the internet and wanted us for the tour. The crowds have been unbelievable, and every night we’ve been joining his band on stage for Youth Gone Wild.’Everyone has been so kind, and it’s a dream come true.”

Earlier this year, the group shared the single “Panic In A Pandemic” with a ZOOM-style music video, channeling the frustrations of quarantine with manic guitar and a pummeling rhythm. Above this intricate groove, Christina’s charisma practically bubbles over as she serves up incisive verses before the infectious refrain, “Silence is violence.

Stay tuned for new music from Kaleido coming soon.
