Born from a turbulent time, 831 is a soul bearing anthem that soars with sophistication and strength. Sharing a little more SK explained: “831 is a song that came out of nowhere. I didn’t even know I wanted to write it until I started singing the hook one day in the studio. It came off the back of a tempestuous relationship, I was feeling a lot of different ways and the story just fell out of my mouth.
What is it about? It’s about being with someone you know is bad for you, that person you keep going back to even though you know the outcome will always be the same. 831 is something we used to say to each other – it means I love you. “

Born and raised in Luton Town, SK seamlessly blends the warm textures of soul, jazz and R&B. Brought up on her family’s vinyl collection, a melting pot of influences has shaped SK’s innovative sound including; Prince, Kate Tempest, Cleo Sol, Hiatus Kaiyote, Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder. SK is an ever-evolving artist who has lots more up her sleeve for this year.
