London Duo Stone Fruit Reveal Their EP ‘Hold Me Close’

Released just a few days ago is Hold Me Close, a stunning five-track offering from the London pairing Stone Fruit. The artists bring together their shared influences of soul, electronic, pop and R&B into something spectacular that will command attention.

With their tracklist taking the listener through various musical sojourns, including the subtle and more bold, the project is rounded off with a special cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere.” We especially love the instrumentally driven title track, which proves irresistible.

Stone Fruit speak openly on the EP, citing: Although all the songs live in a very similar space, they highlight different musings about what is happening around us. In a year haunted by the pandemic, our emotional state as human beings was changing rapidly from one day to the next. We had the privilege to integrate all our emotions and thoughts, whether they were melancholic or joyful in the lyrics, instrumentation, and trajectory of each song. We hope that the listeners can come on a journey with us, interpret the songs in their own way and give them new meaning.
