“Doing well! Excited for this interview, thank you for asking.
1) How did you come by your stage name?
It’s an extension of my personality & creativity. Also as I grow I try to keep every ounce of pureness I have, then you have Gillie da kid, Kid Rock and Kid Ink. It was like Keese….kid ( Keesekid )
2) When did you discover your love for music and what made you realize?
I’ve loved music since the jump. I discovered my passion for making musical arts in middle school poetry and nursery rhymes always caught my attention.
3) To whom or what do you accredit your style of music creation to?
Mainly Dmx, Nas, Tupac, Eminem, Reed dollaz, Meek mill, Kanye west & Chief keef ,ynw Melly, Kodak black, & Trippin Redd but I ” Acredit ” my environment.
4) On your current single, how did you come up with the concept?
Vent to the pad on past experiences.
5) What are some of your greatest challenges and your greatest attributes when it comes to making music?
Staying out of jail so I can be consistent & building a better team/Support system. Strengths ; Energy, meaning, Animated, reaching out, creativity.
6) Are you the best at what you do?
I believe I’m the best at what I do.
7) What are your plans in the near future as far as music goes after the release of this new single?
Collab with artist out of state & book shows.
8) Is there anyone you’d like to thank or shout-out who may have helped you with completing the new single?
My mom & Dad for my life & Leek Leek for the fire ass beat.
9) What music advice would you give to your younger self?
When all seems bad keep the music coming. Persistency & consistency is key.
10) What suggestions/advice do you have for other artists like yourself?
About 2-3 yrs of going hard consistently and your there.
