Dreams are the gateway to opportunities. They enable a person to think big and beyond their comfort zone. They give hope for the better and transport one to an alternate reality – something they desire but do not have at the moment. It is merely because of these dreams and hopes that a person becomes determined about their future and works accordingly. Similar was the case for Diomande Elliot, popularly known by LaChaleur, his stage name. He is an emerging artist who aims to introduce to the music industry his new-age music and desires himself to be known as the new face of music.

Although LaChaleur almost always inclined towards music and had his earphones on, he actually realized his dream during his sophomore year in 2006. The peace and comfort that music brought him became evident, allowing him to set his mind to make it his career. This fondness for music slowly turned into a passion. He then started practicing music daily with his friends after school hours and even at home. Out of the many acquaintances, Curtis, his true friend, pushed him to transform his dream into reality. He played the role of a caring friend and motivated LaChaleur to take a step forward.

Together with his friend and LaChaleur, he released his debut song on a beat created by them. It was then that he learned the skills of being an audio engineer and music producer. Learning and creating music on his own, without a mentor, allowed him to explore various kinds of music and experiment with different techniques. After making a small debut in the music industry and examining how the industry operated, LaChaleur became even more determined to establish himself in the music industry. He started to put his heart and soul into creating new tunes and practicing his vocals.
