1. Birth certificates of the beautiful couple

2. Death certificate of the former spouse if one of them is a widower. 

3. Proof if the names are changed.

4. Valid passports of the couple

5. Document that proves there is no hindrance to the marriage

If you are a foreigner and your spouse is a Seychellois 

1. Authenticated birth certificates of the beautiful heavenly made couple

2. National identity cards of Seychelles of both the Bride and Groom

3. Valid passports of the two

4. Divorce certificate if there is any

5. Death certificate of the spouse if either of the bride and groom is a widower or widow.

6. Celibacy certificate of the foreigner

7. Permit of stay in Seychelles of the foreigner

8. 2 passport size photographs

9. Collect Police Character Certificate from Seychelles Police Station(if the foreigner has been in the country for six months or more)

What are the costs involved for getting married in Seychelles?

1. If you want to get married in the Outer Islands, pay SCR 500.

2. Marriages held after 1700 HRS get charged with SCR 700.

3. Marriages happening on a Saturday or a Sunday get charged with SCR 700.

4. Marriages outside the Civil Status Office get charged with SCR 350.

5. If you don’t want to inform the Civil Status Office of your marriage within 11 days, you can pay SCR 100 and obtain a Special License.
