Paula Weckerle questions the status quo as a versatile talent in New York.

As a young model and a psychological guide to youth, she has proved her mettle in her multiple careers.

The way certain industries are growing today, people may wonder what could be the reasons behind their exponential rise. Well, there could be innumerable factors, but one cannot deny how young professionals, especially women, have been pushing the envelope, questioning the status quo and trying to cross boundaries in all that they ever choose to do in their lives to explore more ideas, discover their worth and help others discover it for themselves while creating an inspirational journey for the world to look upon. We came across one such highly driven female professional and a model who not only entered the modelling field but also made sure to leave blueprints for success for others to learn from and create their unique niche; she is Paula Weckerle.

Paula Weckerle hailed from Curitiba, Brazil and started modelling at the naive age of 14 by participating in many modelling competitions. She earned second place at the John Casablanca’s Contest, Elite Model Look. Soon after, she began her career in modelling in San Paulo and then, to fulfil her quest to make a name globally, moved to New York City, the US. Little did she know then that she would also go ahead in impacting the lives of other budding models with her expertise in psychology and as a psychological guide would help the youth to reach their ‘next level’ in the world of modelling.

In just a few years in the city, Paula Weckerle has been able to build her unique niche as a model and as a psychological guide who wants up and coming talents in the industry to first complete their education and learn the many “its and bits” of the modelling space to understand how the industry works. Furthermore, she emphasizes that if things don’t work out, it can even affect one’s mental health. Hence, she wants people to learn to get mentally strong in an industry of glamour and glitz, where things may not go as planned.

Also, Paula Weckerle advises them to understand their strengths and weaknesses as a model, learn how they can work upon them, study more fashion shows through YouTube videos, and gain more information by reading more magazines, books or watching videos that can give them more insight about the industry. All these little efforts can go ahead in making huge differences in their lives and turn them into finer talent.

Apart from doing exceedingly well in modelling, Paula Weckerle can’t wait to get her diploma and become a certified psychologist or a therapist in the US to also impact people’s lives through addiction management. Find out more about her through Instagram @paulaweckerle.
