Kodezi: A unique rewarding online coding learning experience

Learning coding and programming is a difficult task, especially considering the fact that there are limited resources available to learn practical knowledge. Although many universities offer coding as a course, students often fail to grasp proper knowledge as the focus is more on theory. Kodezi is an online coding programming learning platform where students get the opportunity to learn coding in a more practical way.

History

Kodezi was started as a basic idea by a 15-year-old high school student named Ishraq Khan back in 2019. In its early days, it was just a website called TeachMeCode. According to Ishraq the idea about this website came into mind when he observed the struggle of students to get two-way communications for effective online learning. Even on successful online platforms such as YouTube, the tutorials are hour-long with more emphasis on bookish knowledge rather than the application part. Kodezi as an idea became an instant viral hit among the students as they were finally able to share their concerns and expertise with other students which in turn made the process quicker and more effective. The website was a huge success and within a month more than 10,000 users joined and it kept on increasing. Later in 2021, he transformed the website into an online learning platform Kodezi.

Kodezi: An online coding learning platform

Kodezi is a unique online open platform that allows students to share coding and programming tutorials on peer to peer basis. This distinctive feature allows students to get quick and effective e-learning as a student to student communication and interaction with experts with years of experience leads to the best learning outcome. Since the full inception of the platform back in 2019, the number of users has been steadily increasing and is currently at a peak as of mid-2021. Students have uploaded and shared thousands of hours’ worth of learning material through Kodezi. The significance of this platform is more increased due to pandemics. In the current pandemic schools and colleges were closed due to which the learning of students has been hampered; Kodezi helped thousands of students to learn coding even in the complete lockdowns. It is by definition from the student by the student learning platform

Future of Kodezi

Kodezi is now headed towards becoming the number one coding tutorial platform in the world. Recently it got a very impressive buyout investment offer from one of the subsidiaries of a fortune 500 company, which is an impressive feat considering the fact that the platform is quite new. As for the future, Kodezi is undergoing a transformation as the company is targeting students globally. They have made lots of changes in the company such as rebranding the website and management team and company is being re-launched on 20th August. This will be a big event as the new feature is being unveiled where students will be able to get the answers to their queries instantly by tutors. This is a bit similar to StackOverflow but users don’t have to wait for 24h or more so. This will make the tutorial more accessible for the student in comparison to teacher-student interactions in class. The company is also under hiring more manpower and experts to ensure smooth operation. Ishraq is hoping for new investments, and even an office  space since the addition of new demographics in its user base and overall better results in terms of consumer responses to it.
