Interview With Camp Savage

Hi Camp Savage! How are you?

I’m doing good, can’t complain.

When/How did you start/get into making music?

I never really seen my self doing music at a young age but my uncle  was a big Prince fan. Which allowed me to appreciate music back then and now .

What is your greatest inspiration for your music?

My uncle became very ill and after his funeral I was sitting in my aunt’s basement listening to a rapper by the name playboy carti performing broke boi and seeing the excitement in the crowd made me want to become a rapper, because I loved music.

What is the hardest subject you’ve ever written about?

My past relationship with people . When I started writing in high school a lot of people over looked me . But I kept writing and pushing to become known at my school.

What is the greatest achievement you’ve ever accomplished?

Finding my sound was my best achievement, people who heard my music on YouTube, before I was dropping knew I was rapping on different beats just trying to find my self and I’m glad I did.

Are you planning on releasing new music soon?

Yes all year, there’s no stopping when your grinding.

What is next for you?

To build relationships with not just people who can help me, but my fans, their the ones who keeps pushing me to drop more cause my music is relatable to them.
