  • Over/Under: In an over/under bet, you bet on the total number of goals scored by the two teams combined. However, it can be either over or under a set margin which is usually fixed at +5.5 or -5.5 goals.
  • Puck Line: The puck lines bets are the bets you can only play if you like betting on the favorites. It is basically the same as points spreading in other sports.
  • Points Spread: The puck line is similar to the points spread. The only difference is that in the Puck Line you have a +1.5 or -1.5 margin, but in points spread, the bookmaker can offer comparatively larger margins for scores.

  • Regulation Time: In a regulation time bet, you have to place a bet by predicting what will happen in the first 3 periods of the game. Other periods like shootout or overtime are not counted.
  • First Period: The first-period bet means that you can place any of the above-mentioned bets but only the first period of the game which is 20 minutes will be counted.
  • Future Bets: If you want to bet that a certain team will win the event even before the season has started, such a bet will be called a future bet.
  • Grand Salami: This is probably the riskiest but profitable bet you can place in hockey betting. In this bet, you wager on the total number of scores in a total number of games taking place in a single day.
