R.E.M. debuts original Hib-Tone mix of “Sitting Still” digitally for the first time ever; b-side from rare original “Radio Free Europe” single, 7” vinyl reissue due 7/23

In anticipation of the upcoming first-ever reissue of R.E.M.‘s rare 1981 release “Radio Free Europe (Original Hib-Tone Single),” the B-side, the original Hib-Tone mix of “Sitting Still,” is available digitally today for the very first time.

“Sitting Still” will be available on the upcoming “Radio Free Europe” 7-inch record, presented in its original format: as a 45-RPM single, housed in a jacket featuring photography by Michael Stipe. In an homage to the band’s hometown, the single was pressed in Athens, GA at Kindercore Vinyl.

In addition to the 7-inch single, “Radio Free Europe (Original Hib-Tone Single)” will also be released digitally. Both formats available July 23rd on Craft Recordings.
