How do you bring your TaeKwonDo badass attitudes into your music and your daily life?
I don’t really think about it, I just am that way. The best thing you can be is yourself #cheesy
You say that your studies into social psychology influenced the way you write your lyrics. Can you tell us a little more about that?
I look at situations from a different lens. I understand human behavior and my observations incorporate that. I think that adds more depth to the lyrics. You just understand people in a new way.
What advice would you give people who are feeling the pressures from social media to be ‘perfect’?
There is no such thing as perfect and people don’t even like perfect if they see it because then they just feel bad/inferior. The best thing you can be is authentic and a unique, relatable human.
What do you have planned for the rest of the year?
During the rest of the year, I am settling back in LA and moving from Downtown to Santa Monica. I’m preparing a bunch of music to release and am possibly recording in England, which I am very excited about because all of my favorite music comes from there. I hope I come back with a British accent!
