Israel usually doesn’t disappoint when it comes to DJs, and Sean Doron is yet another example of why. He is one of the best DJs in Tel Aviv, creating headlines across the world with his groovy mixes. Many Israeli DJs prefer the psychotronic genre, but Sean loves warm house sounds and grooves. He even released his creations on renowned labels like Rebellion, flying circus, Rotary Cocktail Records, Bla Bla Music, and the iconic Inmotion Music.
Where does Sean produce his music?
Sean loves to work in a peaceful environment. He says, “I lived in a house just beside the beach for a few years”. Every musician has his way of making music. To me, silence is crucial. I cannot work in an environment where there is too much sound. normally i start the idea at home or hotel room during my tour and then i take it to the studio to make this sounds as i wish.
The Israeli superstar now tours the entire world and plays in different music festivals. One of his tracks with Krad Records, Cala Comte, made his followers trippy with the beats. Sean said in an interview, “I love it when my followers show such awesome support in my shows. One of the fans recently texted me that Cala Comte is like a deep, spaced-out track with trippy vocals and synths that slowly drift like clouds in the sky. Honestly, it is probably the best compliment ever. This is what we musicians live for. I can’t express how happy I feel after playing in a festival with thousands of people dancing to my music.”
Mixing Cala Comte
Cala Comte remains one of the best tracks from Sean. Many of his followers even requested him to share how he made the track so trippy. The DJ made the day of his fans by responding to their request. He said, “The essence of Cala Comte is its drum beats. I wanted to introduce a supple beat at the beginning of the track. You will notice that the beats slowly become crisper and eventually have metallic hits. I feel that many DJs underestimate the power of drums. But I make sure that most of my tracks have drum beats because they can create the trippy feeling that my songs have. I think Cala Comte became popular because of the fizzy modulations of drums.”
Many of his followers feel that Sean is an inspiration for upcoming DJs in Israel. His easy-to-follow techniques to create unique tunes are making many youngsters turn to their DJ mixers. The man of the moment has a message for everyone. “Even you can create ethereal, floaty, and hypnotizing tracks if you focus on the simplicity of the music. Make sure you create several tunes first and then mix them. At least that’s what I did while creating Cala Comte.”
Sean is now an international celebrity, thanks to his unbelievable creations. He may soon become the most sought-after DJ in international fashion events and parties.
