Saint Sinner shares “Wait,” the latest single from her 2021 collection of tracks. The gorgeous new song finds the Mexico City-based songwriter, composer, producer and performer collaborating with two longtime friends, Jon O’Hara & Greg Hansen, who have contributed production to many Saint Sinner records coming this year. “We work together so easily and it’s a pleasure from all of us to serve this at the dinner table,” notes Saint Sinner. “I created ‘Wait’ with a friend of mine after learning the importance of pursuing your purpose,” she adds of writing the song with Moses Elias. “The choice of two options when you’re faced with a necessary decision, and choosing faith (faith as an actionable form of hope).” Listen to “Wait” here: https://dashgo.co/wait.
Most widely known for her Grammy-nominated vocal feature on Tycho’s 2019 album Weather (listen to Saint Sinner and Tycho discuss working together via NPR’s Weekend Edition HERE), Cottrell has made a name as an artist in her own right. Saint Sinner is about freedom, love and balance. Written and recorded over the past several years and featuring collaborators from across the world, Saint Sinner’s new music showcases composition, recording and mixing, production skill and already-proven songwriting and vocal performances.
“Wait” follows previous 2021 singles “Couch Business,” “Rainbow Road” and “Calm Me Down” ft. El Santi. The early singles are available now as an EP and can be heard here: https://dashgo.co/calmmedown.
