Known for her rare talent, impeccable beauty, incredible style, exotic looks, Demi Mann has become someone everyone wants to cast in Hollywood. British actress Demi Mann has been acting for a while. She has had a number of great experiences on the sets of the films and series she has been in. While in Skyfall, she was exposed to how her peers were working and felt inspired by the process. “It really made me want to be a Bond Girl!” Demi says. “The whole set was amazing, everyone had a good time, and was very professional when it was time to work.” She has learned a lot by her coaches, training, hands on experience, and figuring things out as she goes. She is very confident in her skills and work ethic.

“I have a method I use, being a Virgo, I’m a bit of a perfectionist and love paying attention to detail. I work hard, I go above & beyond and I work with my acting coach, really breakdown the script and find the moments, the beats, I believe in keeping it natural, real, with depth to really perfect and show the range and nail the role,” she explains. With acting, the constant development of the craft is a necessity and Demi makes sure to practice, learn, and grow in the process. Her practice is to be ready for all roles when the time comes. She incorporates a lot of aspects into getting ready like wardrobe, physicality, and knowledge. “Wardrobe is also really important for me in terms of what character I am going up for. I would for sure dress for that character. Voice, movement, is all vital for the performance. A lot of research, detail, depth, understanding, listening, movement, soul, and voice goes into the role. When I’m preparing for any role especially lead roles in television series and feature films the level of detail I put into my work is to perfection. I have studied various techniques from Stella Adler, Ivana Chubbuck technique to Stanislavski so all that and much more goes into the thought process and overall process for preparing for the role.”

As an active person, Demi doesn’t need to do much to be ready. She works out regularly and does a range of classes for strength, endurance, and flexibility. “With physical aspects I am ready to go on set and just go for it. In my daily life I eat really good and healthy so that gives me the edge to be ready physically and to be in that fit shape. I always give 1 million percent. It’s also important to know the director’s vision. I am very involved in the process, I fully commit to the role and just throw myself in there. If I am to do 10 hours of work then I would put triple the hours in so 30 hours or even more hours whatever it takes to make sure that I’ve done everything possible to prepare for the role. I go above and beyond and then some. As far as preparation goes, it’s important to understand the who, what, where, why of the character.”

It’s safe to say that for Demi, commitment and work ethic are her strong suit. When she was working on the set of Frank and Ava, she had the research down and had a great cast to help with the feel for the 50’s which was the setting for the film. “For the role of Annie I played in Frank and Ava I was joined by a stellar cast Rico Simononi, Eric Roberts, Lucas Haas, Dominique Lombardozzi, Harry Dean Stanton being one of the last films he filmed, I researched a lot especially for 1950’s air stewardesses both American and British, I just loved the Pan Am style wardrobe with the bold red lip.”  The film, Frank and Ava won several awards at numerous film festivals.
