 How would you classify your music?  

Soulful contemporary blues

Who are some of your top 5 musical influences?

Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder.

What do you want fans to take from your music?

Our own personal journeys through our music and how we all can relate to the problems/joys we all experience.

How’s the music scene in your locale?

There are a variety of venues and we, as Soulful Femme, have the ability to adapt and relate to different audiences.

What is the best concert you have been to? What do you like most about playing live?

Tina Turner and Allman Brothers. Connecting with our audience on a personal/emotional level.

Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?  

Bitter Taste because of the emotional and musical ferocity. Also Born To Blues because of the lyrical simplicity and the emotion behind them.

How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?

The writing and performance aspects of our show have become more intricate, soulful and reflective.

If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?

Ella Fitzgerald and Duane Allman.

What’s next for you?  

Recording next CD of original material in California and looking forward to meeting and performing for audiences everywhere.
