If we talk about the world of cartoons and entertainment, then it would not be wrong to say that the Japanese have taken over this genre. Whenever we think about the cartoons, another term that comes to our mind that is animation. Most people think that Anime มังงะ and animation are the same things; they are somehow, but they differ. Most of the people also think that comic books are the written anime version that is not true. Anime อ่านการ์ตูน and Manga are both totally different entities and thus have importance in their own genre. To know more about these two terms, you have to know the difference between them that is:
The term “Manga.”
You have heard about comic books and how much it is popular among the kids. However, the comic books have become a craze for this generation. The true word for comic books used in Japan and given by Japanese production is “Manga.” Manga is a type of cartoon entertainment that is published in black and white color. Because Manga is published almost every week, it is published in black and white in order to reduce time and money resources. Manga is a way of storytelling and is much cheaper because there is the fewer number of people required to produce it.
The term “Anime.”
From the last few years, besides cartoons, we have heard another term, animation so much. Though, the animation is a form of a cartoon that is produced to entertain the kids. Japanese use the term anime because it is somehow cartoon, but they depict more intense storytelling by the use of Anime. There is an adult background music and a proper story with the ending. Anime, we can say, is more about the emotional world that can entertain any age group.
What is the same?
Both Manga and Anime are originally creations of Japanese production. So, it is not wrong to say that both of the genres depict the culture of Japan. Whenever you read the Manga and whenever you see the Anime, you will notice that (not always, but most of the time) the dress sense is the same that makes use of Kimono and Traditional hairstyles. Both of these genres use big doe like eyes and sharp jawlines. There is a proper story to tell that has some lesson in the end, most of the time.
What is different?
The Manga uses writing form (not detailed) to give emphasis on what’s going on. In contrast, Anime uses totally different features because it makes use of the software to develop a character. Because writing is also a form of expression, there comes a feel while reading comic books, whereas our sense of hearing is needed to get entertained from the Anime. Most of the comic books are for fun and laughing purposes for the kids, whereas Anime is more intense and usually not funny. The Manga is published, whereas the Anime is released on some platform, or you can say in a CD form.
