Conrad Ashton’s latest single release ‘Those Were the Days’ is a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Nods to the good old days abound in this song. It’s an ode to life; through the highs and the lows.
This is a full-band recording of the acoustic track of the same name that was on Ashton’s EP “No Post On Sundays” from August 2020 basically about reminiscing on the past and being strong with those around you going forward nothing too heavy!
Ashton is old before his time; in his twenties yet singing a song that would suit a much older artist. Nothing wrong with that though, and it’s only a nod to his personal preference for a classic rock sound. Conrad isn’t one for following fads or trends but rather, making music which is timeless. Based in the North-East, UK, Conrad had begun making a name for himself on the local live circuit before Covid hit. We expect he’ll be returning to some of his old haunts very shortly.
