Danish newcomer, mags, delivers pop-euphoria and heartbreak for the dance floor with brand new single, ‘I can’t get over you’

Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album last year, mags is finally back for 2021 full of confidence and a fresh new and highly energetic touch to her honest electronic pop music.

The new single is about unsolved love and about being in the field between having moved on and at the same time still wanting to know where the other person is with everything. The song is, just as we know mags, lyrically very direct and originates from the singers’ own diary-like song writing, while the production also drags the listener into a more outgoing and euphoric universe of sounds.

“I want to release music that has evolved with me. Both the lyrics and the vibe represent exactly where I feel I am right now. Just like everyone else, I’ve used what feels like every single hour of the day in my apartment during the past year. Unconsciously, that state of mind has made me create music that is uplifting and fun. And hopefully, ‘I can’t get over you’ will make everyone else jump up and down, dancing in their lockdown homes, just like I have, listening to the song,” mags tells.

The rest of 2021 offers more music and several concerts from mags. On June 2nd she plays her first ever headline concert at the legendary Lille VEGA in Copenhagen – a show that is already sold out with an extra show added!
