Nominees for 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards Announced

Give this to MTV; though not the head-banging, music video behemoth they were in the 1980s and early 1990s, they still know how to throw one heck of an awards ceremony that is one-part Roman bacchanalia mixed with some of the most eclectic film and television nominees this side of Plan 9 From Outer Space. The awards, started back in 1984 when ye olde writer was sporting the makings of one sweet mullet offset by my brand-spankin’ new Michael Jackson Thriller jacket (yes, the red one with all of the zippers…) have grown and morphed over the years with the one constant being utter and complete inanity. That’s a moral philosophy I can wholeheartedly endorse and, in keeping with that spirit, Vents Magazine is quite humbled indeed to announce the nominees for the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards! We assume the nominees are partying like its 1999…
