DRMAGDN dropped his new EDM pop folk single “Not Alone” featuring Jeremy O’Shea from Velvet Revolver on Fri April 2nd 2021 directly following his huge festival Big Room track called “Say Less Be More” featuring Allé Guercio from American Idol and The Voice in March 2021.
The sixth single “Not Alone” is from his upcoming record Escape From NYC and is about the love, support and community that the 2020 worldwide shutdown definitely needs right now. “Not Alone” has Avicii, Kygo and One Republic overtones and is about all the love and support of friends, family & lovers celebrating the good times.
DRMAGDN says, “This is song is a big shoutout to all the people, moments and epic adventures that got me through the intensity of 2020 and into 2021 positively. You guys are the best and am so stoked to share all these fun memories with everyone.”
The official music video for “Not Alone” has Jeremy O’Shea from Velvet Revolver on vocals, Matt Beck from Matchbox 20/Rob Thomas on guitar/piano, Spencer Ludwig from Capital Cities (“Safe & Sound”) on trumpet, and Dave Rublin from American Authors (“Best Day Of My Life”) on bass. It’s mastered by Dave Kutch from The Mastering Palace (Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber). The music video shows fun times on live tour dates with friends and family, plus these celebrity cameos: Steve Aoki, Alan Walker, Zedd, Mark Cuban, Jason Momoa, Lisa Bonet, Gala Rizzato, Thalia, Ramin Karimloo, Today Show, DJ Paulie D, Kirill Was Here, MIMS, Melisizwe Brothers, 88 Rising, Joji, Rich Brian and August 08.
In line with the song’s theme of not being alone, DRMAGDN gave $100 to charity for the track’s release: $50 to Big Brothers Big Sisters Of America & $50 to You Are Not Alone youth suicide prevention program.
