Mascall Dance Society releases  ‘Privilege’ Video During Lockdown

Mascall Dance Society one of the top dance companies in Vancouver released a video for a unique project titled ‘Privilege’.

The dance company is run by Jennifer Wootton Mascall, their recent productions have been online due to the current global situation.

BLOOMKIDS was an online choreographic residency for choreographers creating with their kids

ANCESTRAL VOICES  was an online voice workshop with Rabbi Diane Elliot. Their most recent project was released on Vimeo and is available below.

The new video was filmed by Darryl Ahye, he says  “After the first two performers, it had a flow and moved really fast.”, explaining how smooth the process was.

The project was produced with a strict deadline and is an example of a dance company adjusting to the new rules and regulations. “We had a very short time to turn the whole project around.” Darryl explains.
