Marq Electronica Releases Funk-infused New Single ‘Bad Bones’

With a touch of funk and reggae, the latest release from UK solo act Marq Electronica is a slice of contrast from his previous dance tracks. Electronica shows just how versatile he is with new track ‘Bad Bones’.

The track is produced and mixed by the award-winning Simon Ellis (Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Westlife, S Club 7, East 17).

‘Bad Bones’ doesn’t shy away from commenting on the current political landscape. Marq makes no apologies for being outspoken when necessary through his music. Through ‘Bad Bones’, Marq vents his dissatisfaction and frustration and encourages others to look past the front and see people for who they truly are.

Originally from Middlesbrough, Marq has spent most of his life residing in the neighbouring city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and has found a supportive network of local artists and performers. He can’t wait to return to gigging some time soon. Expect an energetic live experience from this one-to-watch when he does. Hopefully ‘Bad Bones’ will be in the set too!

‘Bad Bones’ is available now to stream and download on all digital platforms, and there’s a striking video too:
