100% Clean Energy Music With Net Zero Emissions

As an artist I decided to contribute to climate action.  I only use solar and wind energy for my music production. I also don’t do touring, so I have net zero carbon emissions. My music is 100% clean energy music.

I also actively make pro climate action music, like my album Climate Change which was inspired by Greta Thunberg and Fridays For Future movement.

So why did I choose the artist name Drumkoon?

I found an empty bench, set down and began to play my small wooden bongo drums somewhere in Denmark. While I was playing, a certain white gentleman remarked, ‘Who is playing that neger music?”

The gentleman turned out to be a guest at the same event I was attending. You can imagine the awkward moments as we had to seat and eat together as one big happy family. In progressive Denmark the word “neger” is synonymous with the word nigger and has been in official use for centuries as a term to designate someone of black origin.

However, many Danes are debating the “political incorrectness” of the term and there is widespread official denial that racism exists in Denmark. Lastly, I came across “The Most Successful Song Hit of 1901” Its titled COON SONG. Please Look it up on Wikipedia “I am not making this up”. ALL THAT MADE ME ASSUME the TITLE, DRUMKOON, in order to take the negative and turn it into POSITIVE.

You are welcome to hear my podcast titled “Drumkoon Handpan Podcast” In the first episode I discuss my biography.

So my name is Drumkoon, Maestro composer of the world’s biggest (800+) catalog of handpan & steel tongue drum music & sinner who has faith in the BLOOD OF JESUS. Based & recording from a small Danish village.
