MANU GRACE Shares New Video “How Can I Apologise?”

South African songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Manu Grace shares “How Can I Apologise?”, the latest video from her gorgeous EP No Room for Error. The seven song album — out now via Platoon — is unabashed about desire; vulnerable and fierce. On the track, Grace creates a powerfully haunting mood of sadness with the track, skilfully blended with the underlying conviction that there will be an eventual positive outcome. It speaks to the difficult decision of moving on from a relationship in order to grow personally. “The song gripped me on a personal level,” notes director Tao Farren-Hefer. “During the first lockdown in South Africa, there were rumours of drag races happening every Sunday afternoon in the nearby beach parking lot. I investigated what was really happening over the hill,” Farren-Hefer notes of the video.

“Through creating this music video, I found that the rumours certainly didn’t capture the whole truth and I felt compelled to dig even deeper and explore what I found more thoroughly, which resulted in the short documentary Spinderella.”
