With touring on the back burner for the duration of 2020, Bartolic has found new mediums through which to channel the indelible energy of Morning in May. In addition to partnering with Craig Mabbitt for “Orpheus in Retrospect”, a duo of huge covers ensured the Ohio native stayed busy in a challenging year; a breathy cover of Halsey’s “Without Me” and a blistering festive rendition of Fall Out Boy’s, “Yule Shoot Your Eye Out.” blazing a path for new original music in 2021.

Bartolic spoke exclusively to Outburn, to discuss Morning in May’s new record label, and the first new release on Manic Kat Records.
