Making a remarkable impact with their single ’Complete as One,’ Emily-Rose and the Wild Things return to provide us with strikingly cheeky visuals.
Filmed and directed by front-woman Emily-Rose with the help of Luke Chapman (the band’s guitarist), the video showcases the many personalities of each band member. It sees each member playing freely in their natural element, demonstrating their ecstatic quick wit and their unorthodox characters enveloped by colourful background visuals.
The feel good single reminds listeners how liberating it can be to be ‘Complete as One’.
Emily-Rose says “In a world where we feel constantly overstimulated and on the run, it can be difficult to be content in one’s self – and perhaps we do need everything else to truly thrive clearly some members of the band are very at ease in a hectic environment!”. From theband’s engaging personalities to their ability to share playful innuendos and concepts in an individual way, the making of the video and music is unique, genuine and contrasting from other music on offer right now.
On what they want people to take-away from the video, Emily-Rose said, “I want them to enjoy it, have a laugh, feel engaged and hopefully resonate with the craziness we all tend to feel sometimes in this fast paced modern world,”
The single channels modern day anxieties flled with constant distractions, exploring the theme of “how nice it would be to be complete as one.”
