THE BASEMENT TO BRIDGESTONE ARENA NASHVILLE ARTIST JAMES HATEM ATTEMPTS TO SET GUINNESS WORLD RECORD PLAYING 80 VENUES IN 24 HOURS

The heart of Music City, the venues, the bars- like the rest of the world- have taken a beating. As we slowly resurface and aim for life as we knew it, James Hatem partnered with The U.S. Bartenders Guild and Music Venue Alliance in a concerted effort to bring awareness to Nashville’s local music scene and how resilient it is! James will be doing his part by attempting to break a Guinness World Record and will be partnering with Nashville’s finest to do so!

The Goal: Perform at 80 venues in 24 hours to beat the current standing record of 65, set back in 2012 by Norway-based band Helge Toft.

After COVID-19 testing and going to great lengths to make sure his crew has all the necessary PPE gear to keep them safe, James will be traveling throughout Nashville playing venues of all sizes including, Bridgestone Arena, The Jackson Theatre, and Exit/In, to name a few. With the help of Two Rivers Ford, James and his small crew will be driving sprinter vans all over Nashville in an attempt to break the record.

James and his team are currently in discussion with multiple sponsors in order to make sure they can give back as much as they can to the amazing venues and bars in Nashville who have been affected by COVID-19. All donations will go directly to the U.S. Bartenders Guild and Music Venue Alliance.

“It’s about helping the venues. They’ve gone months without live shows and everyone needs to be reminded that without them, this isn’t Music City. Not only will we be raising money to give back to all the venues, but our goal is to show that live music can be brought to everyone again in both a fun and Covid safe manner.” – James Hatem

Fueled by a desire to breathe life into live music once again, Hatem is determined to put on the performance of his life and make history in Nashville. James has also partnered with Tune Den, who will be hosting a live stream music festival on the same day. Along with hosting six Nashville based bands, on April 9th-10th, Tune Den will be checking in with James as he travels from venue to venue during this 24-hour event! Fans are highly encouraged to join us virtually for this momentous occasion.
