New York comedian and viral video star Liz Miele (Comedy Central NPR) is set to release her debut book, “Why Cats Are A**holes”, this month. Many fans know Liz for her “Feminist Sex Positions” viral video, have seen her on tour, or they’ve watched her comedy specials. For her newest project, Liz pulls from her years growing up the daughter of two veteranarians and her experience as owner of a cat named Pasta to offer an insightful and hilarious take on cat behavior. From cat history all the way back to ancient Egypt to exploring the cat psyche, “Why Cats Are A**holes” is your ultimate and very fun guide to better understanding your pet’s behavior and how we, as their loyal servants, can deal with a furry roommate who always seems to be plotting disruption. Maybe even murder. Chapters include:
- Crazy Cat Ladies Are Real
- How to Name Your Cat
- Cats in Boxes and Other Weird Traits
- Living with Cats—the Long Game
- Why Don’t My Friends Like Cats?
- Cat Sanctuaries and Cat Cafés: A Bucket List for a Cat Lover
