To commemorate International Women’s Day, the Dealroom information platform together with WTECH Ukraine released a map of Ukrainian startups founded by women. The map offers 10 Ukrainian fintech projects, including LeoGaming.
Why is it so important?
The Dealroom platform was created in 2013 in Amsterdam and serves as a source of information about startups and investors. These days, reports and articles based on the information provided by Dealroom are published on The Economist, Financial Times, BBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. It is worth noting that WTECH is the first community in Ukraine for women leaders in the IT & tech business.
“The fintech market in Ukraine can be called one of the most balanced industries in terms of the representation of women among the leaders and founders. This shows that the fintech business is a business of new and equal opportunities for everyone: from our colleagues to our customers. I want to thank Dealroom for the attention and appreciation of our work,” says Alona Shevtsova, CEO at LeoGaming.
Earlier, Alona Shevtsova was included in the list of the top 50 most influential women in the fintech industry. It is worth noting that the LEO international payment system was also included in the list of the most important payment systems in Ukraine.
LeoGaming LLC in partnership with the leading payment systems of Ukraine and abroad, provides users the ability to pay for online services, to replenish the balance at favorable rates and make settlements with developers and publishers of online games.
Focusing on the gaming business, LeoGaming LLC has become a leader in the segment of online gaming service platforms in Ukraine and aims to become a leader in this industry in the Eastern European market.
