Along with many issues and traumas, the young kids carry with them the horrible memory of being bullied every now and then and having no one there to help them. There are so many people who have been open about it, but seldom are there who take some steps regarding this cruelty. Bullying is not something that you get fun from, you might be the horrible person you never want to be, or you wish you had never been disturbing someone’s life for their entire life. The aftermaths of bullying can be hazardous leading many of the people to end up their lives or lose the confidence for the all their livelihood. One of the celebrities who has stood up for this noble cause is ATown, a well-known social influencer.
ATown was born as Allen Sherrod on June 5, 1993, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A comedian from the ground up loves to go out and hang out with great vibes. His struggles, Pain, and strength makes him the man he is. Let’s dive deeper.
He has been the victim of bullying and has had the thoughts of ending up his life. He had radical and confusing thoughts during that time but stopped doing that would harm anyone. When asked his middle school experience in an interview, he replied that Middle School was his worst part of life. The school he attended in Philadelphia had no security. He was so frightened that he hardly had attention on his studies because all the time he had thoughts of being bullied.
He tried to open to his Mom, but it didn’t end up well for him because all the blame was turned unto him. He couldn’t come closer to anyone because no would believe in him. He couldn’t go to the college he wanted, because his own Mom said he wasn’t ready because of his health.
Facing all these, he had learned a lot, and this is what he says to those who face the similar issues, “Pieces will fall in place. You do not choose. When you follow God, you believe it’s your work but it’s really God. Please do what you feel in your heart. Do not allow people to change or stop you. keep your head up. Miracles happen. Just push forward Thank you for asking Z. Someone will believe you.”
Keep walking in faith and leave no room for bullies. He had been so successful because he didn’t give up, he was though hurting from his past, but he stood straight. The message is clear from the story of ATown and that is you are worth it, no matter the world falls apart and your own relationships start doubting but you are worth it.
Never fall against those who bully you. Try to get someone to talk to and talk openly about it because there will be someone who might be waiting for you to raise your voice, because others might be facing the same.
