After the global success of the original version with Wisin and Myke Towers, Maluma accepted the invitation to collaborate, and with the song being about women empowerment, Anitta was brought on to the song, rounding out the all star lineup.
With the support of WK Records, the original version of the song reached the #1 spot in the United States, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Panama and Puerto Rico. “Mi Niña” has been certified Platinum by the RIAA in the United States, 2x in Spain,Mexico, Colombia and Chile, and has since surpassed 350 million “streams” on all digital platforms combined.
