MADISON MCFERRIN Shares Radiohead Cover For “Songs That Found Me At The Right Time” Series In Collaboration With The Loveland Foundation

Today Sounds of Saving (SoS) releases a new installment in their “Song that Found Me At The Right Time” series. In partnership with The Loveland Foundation, they share a Q&A with Madison McFerrin as well as her take on Radiohead’s “Everything In Its Right Place.” McFerrin shares: “I think one of the reasons why I love music as much as I do is it stops a lot of the noise that’s in my brain. I had a unique experience in the fact that I am a black woman who had access to therapy from a really early age. And I’m incredibly grateful for that. Now that the conversation has opened up to have more awareness of everyone’s mental health. I think it’s incredibly important for black people to dive into that, especially considering the generational trauma that has been experienced in America is so deep.”

SoS says: “This was an incredible video for us to work on. Madison is an amazing vocalist who interpreted this Radiohead song with a power that speaks to what the song and music has meant to her. She also has an important story to tell to those that may be unfamiliar with or fearful of therapy and how it can help. The Loveland Foundation is an exciting partnership for us so we can contribute towards their mission of showing up for communities of color, including funding high quality, culturally competent therapy for Black women and girls.
