Brand new Los Angeles based CHAMIE, the collaboration of husband and wife team Jes Marie and Joe Sobalo Jr, are hot out of the studio with their single, “Attitude”. An electropop anthem featuring driving beats, funky synthesizers, and ultra confident female vocals, “Attitude” is a fresh new sound on the dance/pop music scene, and will be released on all digital platforms on February 26, 2021. CHAMIE is versatile and can shift their vibe from everything from indie pop to tropical reggae with ease and confidence. Electronic beats, fuzz bass, and rhythmic guitars are the bedrock of their music, combining with unique, eclectic synths that provide the ‘ear candy’ CHAMIE is quickly becoming known for.

Jess comments ““Attitude” is a female empowerment, upbeat dance song that we wrote for those days when you are just ‘feeling yourself’ – or hey, maybe not feeling yourself, but want to be! Feeling confident and good is so important. We want to inspire people with our music and want this song to be the kind of track where you play it and the fun energy makes you smile and feel positive and strong. The idea for the song came from a motif that we thought of that you hear enter first in the intro, and then it occurs throughout the rest of the song. We combined that with grooving synths, a funky bass line, electric guitars, and a driving beat with female vocals to create our electropop/dance vibe. During these crazy times in our world, we hope everyone can play this track as a little escape and get an uplifting energy booster!”
