“ Good, just staying busy during the pandemic. working on new music, videos etc. “
Can you talk to us more about your latest single “G.O.T. (Game of Thrones)”?
“ this song is probably one of the favorites from fans and supporters. So we shot a video to go along with it. we’re releasing the video on valentines day.“
Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?
“ just life events… what we were going through at the time with relationships with women or just life itself. our life experiences are pretty much how we always get inspiration for our music. “
How was the filming process and experience behind the video?
“ it was fun we rented a big mansion in Atlanta .. didnt really have a script or outline about how we were going to do the video, we just had fun with it and loved how it turned out. “
How was the recording and writing process?
“ for this particular song we were at our house in georgia we had just flown in from LA… rob woke up in the morning did like 3 songs… i ( Apollo ) listened to G.o.t. and told him “ this is the one “ so me and blaze finished the song up “
What role does LA play in your music?
“ LA played the biggest part in our career because thats where we became minus gravity… from being homeless in LA trying to make it we would have the worst possible days but tell ourself “ nothing can hold you down “ thats where minus gravity comes from “
After such a massive record as was your latest project – did you feel any pressure trying to come up and putting this new material together?
“ no its never any pressure doing what we love.. i know people waking up starving or being a single mother , thats real pressure… we’re just making music and putting everything into that… thats not pressure thats a blessing to us.”
Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?
“ yes we are working on our new album titled “ ownership “ should be out sometime after april “
Any tentative release date or title in mind?
“hopefully early april “
What else is happening next in Minus Gravity’s world?
a lot of new music .. a new album in april… just getting better and perfecting our craft is the main goal… getting better everyday.
