You never know when something could happen, and it is best to prepare yourself for that, even if it means being indoors. Keep them away from the structure and always keep the power shut off. Of course you can’t have it on while playing, but you do need it out of the way until such time as you can come back inside.
Be aware of where children are playing Airsoft guns too. If you find that your children are holding or using an airsoft gun, they need to be taught that it is dangerous and they shouldn’t play with it. Children are curious and easily able to see how a gun works. It can be something that can be very fatal if the wrong person holds it.

When playing airsoft with someone, it is extremely important that you both know how to properly shoot your guns. You don’t want to accidentally hit anyone with your sidearm, which can be very hazardous. Always practice shooting your guns over a variety of different surfaces, including sand, water, dirt and even tree sap. Also, find a good spot to hide, and make sure that your targets are not going to be easily accessible to you.
