Villa Beatz a well known super producer from Toronto, Canada teams up with NK for their new project “Re Rock”. The song was co-produced by Chris Grey and Villa Beatz and NK is the artist that completed the vision. The music video was filmed by Tristan Ng and was co-directed by both Villa Beatz and NK.
It’s not often that both an artist and a producer take such a hands on roll in the production of their visuals. By taking the extra effort and time to direct their own music videos shows that they are truly dedicated to their craft. The visuals turned out like a movie and stand out by having the guts to try something different and not follow the current video trends.
The video is an example of some of the new talent coming out of Toronto for 2021. The previous generation was releasing low quality visuals with matching quality production. Often many of the new underground artists would release music with beats they found on YouTube and recorded at home. Now the next generation has managed to complete the process independently while having super producers like Villa Beats making sure the sound matches the industry standard.
Villa Beatz and NK will both be working on projects for the next year but fans are just getting a chance to see their full potential.
