Aries has delivered the official video for his genre-blending track “CONVERSATIONS” today. The visual was shot in Los Angeles and was co-directed by Aries and his frequent collaborator Mattias Russo-Larsson. From a convertible on PCH, to a dark and moody hotel room, to a high school dance and out to the ocean, the video jumps around through various scenes and simultaneously captures the youthful vibe of the song and the playful lyrics. Speaking on the video, Aries explains:
“Conversations has a youthful energy that I wanted reflected with the music video. I grew up in California so driving down PCH sums that up for me. Then the high school prom scene just felt like the perfect extension of that youthfulness.”
Mattias Russo-Larsson adds:
“With the hotel room and shark scenes these were fun ideas we’d come up with that we’d been wanting to include in an Aries video for a while. CONVERSATIONS felt like a great fit for them as it’s a song that’s not trying to be too serious.”
