Flo Chase Releases New Single “More Of You”

Today, multi-instrumentalist Flo Chase has released his first new music in over a year, “More of You.” The upbeat and introspective track grew out of his experience moving from New Caledonia to Australia before finally landing in Los Angeles. It explores the feelings that come along with being separated from loved ones and longing to reunite with those left behind. “More of You” was co-produced by Chase and Houston Fry, mixed by Kolton Lee (Kaleo, Foy Vance, Shania Twain, Niall Horan), and mastered by Joe Laporta (Shawn Mendes, David Bowie, Foo Fighters, the Weeknd). This is just the first taste of new music Chase has planned for 2021. “”More of You” came to me while reflecting on the distance between my loved ones and the urge to go back to the relationships we had,” shares Chase. “Sometimes you need to leave home to realize that’s where the heart remains. Writing this song was very cathartic and is very much a love letter to those I’ve missed while abroad. Distance is hard but gives us a reason to love harder.”

In addition to the release of the single, Chase has teamed up with American Songwriter to debut the official music video for “More of You.” Filmed in San Francisco, the video follows Chase riding a bike through the streets reflecting on those dear to him. The pairing of 80s fashion with the iconic backdrop captures the light and celebratory mood of the track as well as a tone of gratitude for family and friends especially when they are on opposite sides of the globe.
