Odesa is a Ukrainian pearl by the sea. 10 years ago, in 2011, a couple of young guys decided to fulfill their dream in this city. The cousins started working on the creation of their own rock group. Together with the assembled team, they began to work with covers in their apartment, for which the neighbors almost called the police. They smoothly moved to the basement and improved their sound there.
With temporary hiatuses, line-ups, and group name change in 2013, they perform as YOUNG DRIVE at charity concerts, performing covers of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, and many others. In October 2013, two members left the group and were replaced by a new bassist and vocalist. The team was renamed DICENTIUM. A new stage begins in the life of the group. They write their own material and strive to reach a new level. In the summer of 2014, the band decided to concentrate on promoting copyrighted material and changed their name to BE MY GUEST.
This year has been a change in the lives of six talented musicians. They approached their work with full dedication. And their performances aroused addiction in the audience. With a piece of their soul, they gave over fifty performances to audiences reaching 25,000 people in total. Each of them was accompanied by a magnificent laser show. Their video clips have received millions of views and evoke vivid and warm emotions. In 2016, the band was recognized as the discovery of the year in Ukrainian rock music. They have taken part in top festivals, such as “CXIDPOK”, “ZAXIDFEST”, “ROCK BULAVA”, “Respublica FEST,” and “Atlas Weekend.”
Although they took a short break from their work, all of the above was a sign of destiny to return to the big stage. Fans of their work and just connoisseurs of quality music can look forward to a grand come back with a new repertoire and in a new role in February 2021.
