Gallowayyys Releases New Single “ROLLING”

Raised in Houston, 25 year old rapper, singer and producer Gallowayyys draws on an intuitive understanding of art and human experiences to create his rich soundscapes.

Blending elements of hip-hop, psychedelic rock, pop and R&B into his musical creations, his latest release “ROLLING” is a kaleidoscopic joy ride. Filled with warped synths and jolts of electronica, “it’s a psychedelic song about an experience I had while tripping with loved ones”, Gallowayyys explains.

“At the end of the summer my friends and I booked an Airbnb in Galveston. There at the beach, under the stars, with the neon lights from Pleasure Pier in the background, I felt a deep connection to myself, my friends, and the earth. Ahead of the crew I went back and took a shower. As the warm rush of water ran across my face, I tuned into a frequency I hadn’t heard before. I felt an exhilarating wave of colors, love, and positivity enter my mind. ‘ROLLING’ embodies that feeling to me.”

Skipping class with a diverse group of individuals, the students would travel together booking Airbnb’s or camping in the natural beauty of their surroundings. Travelling across Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and California, Gallowayyys began to experiment with his sound, drawing inspiration from the people and places he met along the way.
Uploading original works at the beginning of the year, his creative accomplishments have generated support from Dummy Mag, Obscure Sound, Reprezent Radio and Elevator, as well as editorial support from Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Hip-Hop, and Shisha Lounge. With every release, Gallowayyys demonstrates his rejection of accepted norms, instead finding acceptance in the idiosyncratic.
