SM Entertainment’s global performance brand “SMTOWN LIVE” concert will be globally broadcast online for free on December 31st at 8 pm PT/11 pm ET.
“SMTOWN LIVE – Culture Humanity” will be available on various platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and Japan KNTV, and Naver V LIVE’s Beyond LIVE channel.
In particular, this concert is a special performance for the New Year with hopes to encourage and convey hope to people around the world who are having a hard time with COVID-19, reaching fans around the globe remotely at no cost.
The show will feature Kangta, TVXQ!, Super Junior, Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Baekhyun and Kai, Red Velvet, NCT, SuperM, aespa, Ginzo, IMLAY and Raiden. All performances will be held according to health and safety rules and will have been recorded safely beforehand.
The diverse music and performances of the show have been organized into performance sections in the form of various omniverse. The camerawork, AR special effects and graphics will provide all viewers with a first row seat to the concert.
SM has successfully hosted “SMTOWN LIVE” concerts since 2008 in major cities around the world, including Seoul, New York, LA, Paris, Tokyo, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Singapore and Dubai.
