How Tarot Reader Meghan Rose Found Success Against All the Odds During the Pandemic

This year has seen unprecedented hardship for thousands of businesses across the country. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses have been fighting for survival as we face a global recession and exponential unemployment rates. Many of us have put our dreams on hold as we wait anxiously for better times.

Many have also transformed their business models to adapt to an ever increasing digital world. Spiritual Advisor Meghan Rose found a way to bring one of her traditionally intimate and in-person practices online. While specializing in Reiki, meditation and yoga, since going online, her expert Tarot card reading services in particular have been in huge demand from as far afield as Kuwait.

When imminent shutdowns were taking place across the country, Meghan faced huge uncertainty about the future of her Los Angeles based business. She went from teaching over 10 weekly in-person classes to zero. But she knew that not all was lost, and this was actually an opportunity presenting itself to her. “Somewhere, buried underneath all of the chaos and unknown was a deep inner knowing that the pandemic was happening in divine timing,” she explains.

Meghan channeled that uncertainty and her “survival instincts” set in. She changed her website to reflect that all of her Tarot readings would be held over the phone, also posting tirelessly on social media so her community knew where to find her, as she tried to find herself. In an unbelievable twist of good grace, Meghan saw her follower count triple during the pandemic, also gaining international clients from the UK, Australia and Belgium.

Not only this, but Meghan has found a dedicated celebrity clientele, including Australian Model Emily Sears, Gold Medal Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings, and Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford. “Celebrities who were more inclined to work privately over the phone than to have a stranger come into their home, were calling and booking after word-of-mouth referrals from others in the industry,” she explains.

Personal referrals have been Meghan’s lifeline, which have all come about due to her spiritual services which clients have described as “life-changing” and “crystal clear”. She continues to bring Tarot to the mainstream, working with companies like Gorjana, Jenni Kayne, Sugarbear Hair, Crabtree & Evelyn, Theragun, EO Products, ASTR the label, and more. Her approach makes spirituality accessible to all, and is defining the way “wellness” is perceived.

This kind of momentum for her business was unprecedented, but Meghan believes it’s not totally surprising that people are seeking spiritual guidance at this time. “My belief is that this time of slowing down and reflecting has allowed us to see how necessary it is to tend to our spiritual health,” she explains. “The more we push away our connection to source consciousness, the more likely we are to run into over-working, over-functioning, and ultimately losing our connection to ourselves and others in a meaningful way. This can lead not only to physical health issues, but a general lack of happiness and purpose over time”

She explains that spiritual wellness allows people to rewire their thought processes, slow down, be present, and figure out what they truly want. Meghan’s ALIGN: Spiritual Advisory program, a specially-curated 1-on-1 program that is tailor made for each client, has become a particular source of comfort to people during this time. Her private weekly sessions are rooted in mindfulness, and allow clients to use Rose’s Meditation, Energy Healing, and Tarot services at their discretion in a “client first” focus during this difficult time.

Against all the odds, Meghan found that the stars aligned in perfect timing with the world in need of spiritual services now more than ever. While Meghan Rose has found immense personal success during this time, every client she helps receives an opportunity to bring themselves inner peace and outward success, supporting them every step of the way.
