Even before they formed their own company, the Tucci brothers have been sought after in the film industry. Damiano Tucci, who co-founded Parkside Pictures, produced more than thirty films there. With his resume continuing to grow, Damiano is highly skilled in evolving film finance models and understanding how to bring independent films to fruition in this ever-changing marketplace. Tiziano Tucci has long had an aptitude for creative development in writing and directing, coming from a classical music and filmmaking background.
They have worked with many notable names such as Woody Harrelson, Shirley MacLaine, Amanda Seyfried, Ewan McGregor, Val Kilmer, John Cusak, Maggie Grace, Toby Kebell, Lucy Hale, Zoey Deutch, Ashley Benson, Lea Thompson. They have also developed and produced an extensive amount of commercial work for Adidas, BuzzFeed, Chevy, Renoit, and many more.
These joint skillsets have made the duo incredibly effective at getting films off the ground and into production at a staggering rate.
Tucci & Company has just wrapped principle photography on Borrego, starring Lucy Hale, Nicholas Gonzalez, Olivia Trujillo, Leynar Gómez, and Jorge A. Jimenez.
In this wonderfully cast survival thriller, Hale plays a young botanist who moves to a small desert town to study an invasive plant species. She must fight for her survival as her and an inexperienced drug mule that has kidnapped her, played by Leynar Gómez, run from local drug receiver Jorge A. Jimenez. Local sheriff Nicholas Gonzalez is drawn into the hunt as his rebellious daughter, Olivia Trujillo, sets out on her own to find the missing botanist.
Borrego is slated to release in 2021 along with a number of Tucci & Company
upcoming releases such as The Birthday Cake (Ewan McGrreggor, Val Kilmer, Ashley Benson, Shiloh Fernandez, Benn Pagley) and Tiziano Tucci’s written & directed Weird Weird Times.
