A few weeks ago The Sharpe Family put out their first Christmas album titled A Sharpe Family Christmas. The album is cheerful and the perfect way to get the entire family into the holiday spirit. It’s safe to say Christmas music is one of the families favorite part of the Holidays. When asked why they wanted to create a Christmas album they shared “We really wanted to share our Christmas spirit with our fans. This time of year is always so magical and in these crazy times it’s even more important that we come together with our friends and family to show our love and appreciation for one another!”
The new album is a mix between covers of some of the family’s favorite songs and some new original music as well. With each song being so unique it’s hard to pick a favorite even for the family. “I have to say that we all have gone through so many different stages of which song is our favorite! The twin’s version of Mommy Kissing Santa Claus is amazing. Dad Ron’s version of the Christmas Song and mom’s Barbra’s version of I’ll Be Home for Christmas are beautiful. Logan’s pop version of the original Christmas Time is Here and the new arrangement of Jingle Bell Rock are awesome. Samantha’s original song Awaken the Spirit of Christmas and Samantha leading the family version of Silent Night in harmony is truly touching. Every song is unique and will bring in the holiday spirit all!”
Aside from their own original songs the family of course has their favorite traditional songs. “We all really love the classics! I’ll Be Home For Christmas, The Christmas Song, It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas. We also really love songs that we can harmonize to as a family like White Christmas, and Silver Bells. Like most music, the Sharpe Family loves to harmonize and sing most songs together. When asked what their favorite holiday songs to cover they said “we love singing Believe from Polar Express, Jingle Bells, Silent Night, Felice Navidad, and Rockin Around the Christmas Tree.”
