  1. What are 3 words that describe your music?

Musical, emotional, datBounce.

  1. What is the hardest subject you’ve ever written about?

I guess reliving and writing about a relationship gone sour because I had to reimagine the wild shit that has happened. My life is a movie so I Got some STORIiiieeessss. I’m thankful for the journey tho.

  1. What are the challenges of being an artist?

Finding a happy medium between what I love, and trying to imagine what people will love, is one for sure because I can make any type of music and my voice has like 8 different styles as well and I try to incorporate the sax in everything. Making sure all of those things are present in the song is the hardest part. I dont make music all the time for myself because most of the subjects are personal. But it’s cool, people especially women have given me MORE than enough to write about hahah. Also the journey can be tough because nobody just gets in this game unscathed it appears. I went thru also type of people trying to get over on me or mess up my name because I wouldn’t let them get over on me. You have to go thru shit to create your E TrueHollywood story I guess. I’ve been broke and 3 time Grammy nominated while Uber Driving for a year. I have had to restart my career like 3 or 4 times. I started on the road playing sax with John Legend. Then I started producing. Made enough to survive because I didn’t know the business as well as I do now. So I’d advise new artists before you get around these vultures LEARN the business first. Then the last part is when you finally start to rise up all the people that pop up and trying to figure out who is genuine or who you want in your tribe because that is important. Also a manager can Make or Break you…

  1. Are you planning on releasing new music soon?

I am planning on releasing new music in 2021 and I have some really cool features on them as well. I also have some music coming out in movies next year as well. I’m excited for the future and hope I can get back to the stage soon. My live show is a whole other subject 🎷
