John Star Icon- The Gifted Musical Genius Who is all Set to Dominate 2021 After a Successful 2020

Hailing from the modest neighbourhood of Staten Island in New York, this youngster had a flair for creating extraordinary music. His passion for rapping and channelising the experiences of his life into songs made him release his debut album of mixtapes, “Rise of A Star” in which he collaborated with the acclaimed G-unit DJ. As the saying goes, real talent never goes unrecognised, John Star too was flooded with the love of music fans around the world, making his first release a breakout hit. Rave reviews were written for his first mixtape, with critics particularly praising his forthright, badass but definitely relatable verses.

Once he set his path with “Rise of a Star”, there was no going back. Since his first creation in 2009, John Star Icon has delivered many more smash hit singles like “Hoot Tours” and “Right Now” which were voted among the top hip-hop songs by Hot 97, the hip-hop radio station of New York. His music is heavily influenced by his predecessors in the rap industry, namely Jay Z and Biggie Small and he has worked with prominent hip hop figures like the US rapper Cory Gunz and JR Writer of Dipset fame.

John Star Icon’s visionary mind was not limited to music-making, but it urged him to venture into different avenues in the entertainment business. No wonder his video direction and editing has garnered equal fame among the viewers. 2020 was his year of fame, as in October, he revealed his much-awaited EP, “From King to Underdog”(FKTU) which sold more than a whopping number of 4000 copies prior to the launch. Moreover, he has also explored the world of book writing, with equally amazing responses which made his books two-times bestsellers in Amazon.

Armed with his stellar 2020 fame, this awe-inspiring rap talent is set to conquer 2021, putting his audience’s hearts to fire once again. He currently boasts of 15915 listeners per month on Spotify and 1.5 k followers. Moreover, his latest EP has made him a household name with the innumerable cover stories vouching for him as the next top rapper of 2021.
