Celebrated producer Tommee Profitt has unveiled a new music video for “O Holy Night” off his high-concept Christmas album, The Birth of a King, out now via Capitol CMG. Featuring powerful vocals from six-time GRAMMY® nominee and Contemporary Christian Music Artist of the Year Tauren Wells and Nashville-based, fast-rising pop act SVRCINA, backed by Profitt’s signature cinematic production skills, the song is a fresh and unique take on the traditional Christmas classicWatch the accompanying visual HERE, and stream or download The Birth of a King HERE.

“I’m honored to be included in this epic Christmas experience Tommee has created,” Wells said of their collaboration. “When we were in the studio working on ‘O Holy Night’, he played me a few other tracks and I was absolutely blown away! I can’t wait for people to feel what I felt in the studio that day. Not to mention SVRCINA who I duet with on ‘O Holy Night’ is amazing,” he added.

The Birth of a King underscores Profitt’s larger-than-life production sensibilities, visionary imagination, and undeniably epic, elaborately detailed take on traditional holiday music. The record features collaborations with a diverse array of musicians such as R&B artist, Stanaj (“Noel [He Is Born]”), Grammy Award-Winning singer/songwriter, Chris Tomlin (“He Is Born [Reprise]”) and internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter, Avril Lavigne who collaborated with Profitt on the song “What Child Is This?,” which Parade Magazine recently included in their list of “25 of the Best Religious Christmas Songs,” calling it “dreamy” and “introspective.”

“It turned out to be the hardest and most exciting thing I’ve ever worked on, and quarantine finally gave me the time to make it happen,” Profitt said of The Birth of a King. “I wanted to make a Christmas album that sounds like an epic movie soundtrack, with 808s, a gospel choir, and all these incredible singers.”
