INTERVIEW: Athxna

Thank you for taking the time to chat with us today Athxna! We love Christmas and can’t wait to hear your rendition of “Santa Baby”! How did the idea of recreating the single come about?

Thank YOU for having me! Thank you so much! I am really really excited to release it. So I love Christmas from the bottom of my heart and I want to put out a song for Christmas every year! Santa Baby is also just one of my favorites.

Was recording a Christmas song as fun as we’d imagine?!

Yes! Especially with some good wine and Justine Blazer haha

Did you go in with a game plan of how you wanted the song to sound?

Well I am a big Eartha Kitt fan and I wanted to stay true to her sound so we decided to go that route.

Is there any personal connection you have with “Santa Baby”?

It’s one that I’ve always listened to! I just always loved it!
